I have been making images for almost 55 years. I have explored many facets of photography from traditional darkroom work to digital imaging and alternative processes. My work is autobiographical, concentrating on self-portraiture, family imagery and the land around me. At the moment I am concentrating on transfer imagery. I love this hands-on process. Every piece is unique. After printing the image onto a special film and spreading the transfer medium onto printmaking paper. I use a paint roller to transfer the image onto the paper. When I lift off the film to see the image, it is always a surprise.
