Lucy 's father was a painter, giving her the opportunity to start painting at a very early age. Formal studies included time spent at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and many private tutorials with well-known artists including Neil Welliver.
“My work, mostly oil paintings, is inspired by time spent in France, and by nature carefully observed in my backyard in Lincoln and on Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts..”
