For many years Karen Watson has been a well known conceptual collage illustrator, often using her photographs in her collages and mixed media pieces. Her work has been collected, exhibited, commissioned and published, on the pages of newspapers and journals across the nation and the world.

In addition to having individual clients, she has been an award winning Artist for the New York Times, The Atlantic, The Boston Globe, The Washington Post, The Philadelphia Enquirer, The Chicago Tribune, Harvard University, Boston University, and many other magazines, corporations, institutions and organizations.
